Go lighter. Ride faster. A compact TPU tube that boosts speed, saves space and keeps you rolling with confidence.

Description

Lighter wheels create a more dynamic, exhilarating riding experience. At only 36 g each, this RideNow TPU tube is typically 60 to 100 g lighter than standard butyl tubes, saving up to 200 g per pair. This weight reduction is concentrated at the outer edge of the wheel, where it delivers the greatest performance benefits. Lower rotational weight allows the wheel to spin up more quickly, making acceleration, sprinting, and surging feel instant and effortless.

The thinner, more supple walls also lose less energy as the tyre flexes, so TPU rolls faster than butyl. And it also holds pressure better than latex, so you spend less time topping up and more time riding than with other lightweight tubes.

A TPU tube is a brilliant spare, too. It folds down to roughly the size of an energy gel, so it takes up far less room in your saddle bag or pocket, and you can carry two for the weight of one ordinary tube. That's a sensible option for longer rides and sportives. We've chosen to spec these tubes on selected wheelsets for exactly these benefits, and they're direct replacements you can carry as spares.

Fitting is easy. The slippery surface slides into the tyre without a fight and the bright colour makes the tube easy to see as you work. Upgrading to TPU is easily one of the most cost-effective ways to improve ride feel without upgrading your wheels or tyres.

Yes. It works with both rim-brake and disc-brake wheels.

No. This tube is made for 18 to 32 mm tyres on 700c wheels. For wider tyres, you will need a tube made for that size range.

If your rims don't exceed a 45 mm depth, 65 mm usually fits well. Check your rim depth before buying. If your rims are shallower, a shorter valve may be a better fit.

Yes. Use the adhesive patches supplied with the tube to repair a small puncture. Follow the instructions on the patch packaging for the best results.
